The Trumpeters

The Drum Horse is accompanied by four trumpeters and they play a fanfair at the start and end of the display. Historically the trumpeters would be used to be heard over the sounds of battle and towards the end of the performance they sound the charge.

The trumpeters may perform either mounted or dismounted after the display. This can be for other purposes such as prize giving or a call to dinner.
